Strawberry Shortcake Parfait

In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with sugar and let sit 10 minutes.

Cut shortcake or pound cake into small cubes.

In parfait glasses, layer cake cubes at the bottom.

Add a layer of strawberries with their juices.

Spoon whipped cream over the strawberries.

Repeat layers until glasses are full.

Top each parfait with extra whipped cream.

Garnish with mint leaves.

Serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
